My Mom took Katie and I to Apollo Park today. We passed by it about...3 times, wondering how the heck we could get in. We really couldn't figure it out. We went into a dead end, and found another car there, looking around. They rolled down their window, and asked us if we knew how to get into the park over there. So at least we weren't the only ones who couldn't figure it out lol. We finally got in, and took Katie to play. It was so cold, not too good of a day to go, but we made the best of it. Katie rode in her car for a bit, til we got to a bridge. My mom wanted to take some pics of her. Katie's favorite thing to do was go up and down a tiny ramp, scared like she was going to fall, and then so proud when she got off it. She did it again and again lol. My Mom put her in her car, on the ramp, and let her go. I took a video of it, on my YouTube account. You can watch it by going on the top right side of my blog, labeled Katie's YouTube videos. She is a fun girl. After the bridge we wanted to go feed the ducks, geese, whatever they are lol. But along the way Katie saw the playground, and we had to stop and let her play. She went down the big slide all by herself twice, with my Mom at the bottom to catch her. Some boys were on the swing, and Katie kept staring at them. The second they got off, she let us know. She said "swing!" pointed to them, and started making her way. She is so funny. She was waiting her turn I guess haha. When she was done, we took her to the ducks. My Mom was scared of them and left me to myself with Katie, while she took pictures from afar, lol. Katie liked them so much she kept trying to go in the water with them. She was throwing a fit when I didn't let her. She also cried and got mad when they walked away from her. She just wanted to be their friend...haha. My Mom finally let her feel the water to see how cold it was, in hopes to get her to stop trying to go in. My Mom told her, "see it's cold. Do you really want to go in cold water?" Of course Katie smiled real big and nodded. She's a nut.
