Thanksgiving With Snoopy & Family

For Thanksgiving, my Mom, Desiree, Katie, and I went to Knott's Berry Farm together. We left a little after 8 and got there at about 9:40. Traffic wasn't too bad. When we got there we dropped my Mom off at the front to get Desiree's ticket while we parked. My Mom and I got in free because she works for the county and they let you and a guest in for free if you go during these next few weeks. As soon as we got in, Desiree wanted to go on the new ride, Sierra Sidewinder. They do a new thing on that ride, where each car has a camera attached, and they video record you during the entire ride LOL. I covered that camera the whole time! How embarrassing if it recorded me! Haha.

When we got off the ride, we were starving and looking for a pretzel. Desiree and I got one with cheese, and Katie got some of each, of course. My Mom posed us by this trash can bear, pointing out the "bear" to Katie. It's supposed to suck your trash down the chute and say thanks, but he was broken :/
While waiting for Desiree and I to get our pretzels, Katie decided to walk all around this planter. She thought she was the coolest for actually going all around.
Katie wasn't able to get on too many rides, so we took her on as many as we could. She was scared of most of them, you could tell by her face, but she toughed it out and didn't cry, just grabbed my arm lightly. She was pretty brave for a 1 year old. I think they just kept flopping her stomach around and she just wasn't used to it.
She didn't like being up so high with the tummy flip flops. I was trying to show her Desiree and my Mom, trying to get her eyes to stop watering from fear lol.
This might have Katie's favorite ride. It was slow paced, and it had a steering wheel for her to play with, and horns. I think I would go CRAZY if I had to work here on this ride. All the kids immediately start honking their horns as soon as they get on this ride, and they don't stop until they're off lol. Katie couldn't reach the horn too well, so I tried to help her, but for the most part I think she liked steering.
Coming back from the circle :p
Katie also liked the Merry-Go-Round. She usually does though. She kept smiling and cheesing it up :)
She knows how to hold on and stay steady :)
Desiree was willing to take pictures of everyone on the horses except herself...haha :p
My Mom got stuck on a giraffe to be next to Katie.
The pose you always have to take at Knott's. I took one with Katie too, but I was blinking hard core, and there was no way to crop me out lol. Oh well.
After taking our "Knott's" picture, my Mom wanted a picture in front of the big Christmas tree they have set up there.
We thought it would be fun to take Katie on the Log Ride next, since she's big enough to go on now. It's pretty fun, I just hate getting wet at the end, so naturally Desiree and I put our hoods on so our hair didn't get wet haha. While waiting in line, Desiree bought an Icee for Katie to snack on, but I guess Katie was too cold or didn't like the flavor because she didn't eat much of it at all. Only about 2-3 sips. Desiree drank the rest though, she likes them :)
Katie wasn't too sure about this ride. It was very bumpy since I don't think it's on a track the whole time. It was decorated for Christmas though, and Katie liked looking at all the wooden characters inside. But when it was time to go down the big hill, Katie clutched me so tight. I finally had to turn her around to face me and let her hold on to me. Poor little girl. She might like it better next year lol.
Taking our hoods off :p
While my Mom was waiting for us to get on the ride, she went in search of the roasted corn she always gets there. They weren't ready yet, but along her way she saw that Santa was there, so when we got off the ride, she showed us where he was. Katie liked looking at Santa while other kids were taking pictures with him. But when it was her turn, she needed Mommy to hold her, or she would have run away from him.
She did like the candy cane he gave her though, and she slurped it up, making a mess on her face and hands. She also got a reindeer hat that she actually wore for a while.
Grandma, Mommy, and Katie
Waiting for the train to pass so we could go see Snoopy on Ice.
Katie's reaction to Snoopy on Ice. I think she liked it lol. She watched most of the show, clapping when everyone else did, and then ended up falling asleep on my Mom. After the show ended Katie stayed asleep the whole walk back to the car. And the whole car ride home. She must have been tired! We had to leave Knott's at 2 so that I could make it home in time to take Katie to go have dinner with David's family.
This is the table David fixed up for me, but still hasn't brought home, lol. They set their tables up for everyone to sit together and eat dinner. Pretty fancy.
Of course, to the girls, it was just a fun tent :p
The kids were playing with Legos for a while, while waiting for the food to be finished.
Katie's Aunt Jennifer brought presents for the kids. Katie got a doll and a ball. Karli and Travis got spinning tops I think.
She decided she liked the ball best, and spent some time throwing it all over the house lol.
Soon the kids found the spinning chair, and entertained themselves for a while on it. Karli was spinning them around pretty fast.
Katie loved it
Then Travis gave it a go, but it just didn't have the same affect for Katie...lol.
We ended the night with David and his brother's playing xbox, Katie playing with the girls, and David's Mom packing up leftovers for everyone to take home. David ate 80% of his as soon as we got home that night. Nerd. It was fun though, Katie had fun playing with her cousins. Thank you Lynn for cooking for everyone! That was a lot of work :p

Cute pics. Thanks for cropping my fatness from the horsey pic..lol.

She's funny. I should have put 3 ponytails so her bangs wouldn't fall down.

Looks like they had fun playing. The bottom of Travis' shoe cracked me up.
