My Saturday Was Long!

This morning I had to go to school at 11, so I dropped Katie off with my Mom and they played together. After I took my test in class, I hurried to Schooner's to see my cousin Lauryn play in a concert/recital. Her music class N' Rhythm was doing their second show there, and since I also had a test that day, I wasn't able to make it :/ But I made sure I went today. Her friends Emily and Katey were also playing. Emily was on the drums like my cousin Lauryn, and Katey was on the guitar. Lauryn and Emily each got to play a song with Katey. It was a pretty cool show, but oh so long! My cousin Lauryn didn't even get her chance to play until 2 hours after the show started! Plus, the service there was horrible. Mary bought me a grilled cheese when I got there and it was yummy! It took a while to order and get it though. It took me literally 20 minutes to order ice cream for David, Mary, and I, and 10 for her to give it to me. And when she finally did take my order, she only wrote down 1 ice cream, so we all had to share. Rude waitress. Horrible service. After Lauryn played her two songs, I left and took Blake home. David wasn't feeling well so Mary and Desiree took him to Kaiser. I went to the store and picked up some snackies for Katie, since we were going to David's brother Peech's house to watch the fight on HBO or whatever it was. We went there last night, and Katie was starving to death bringing me to their fridge every 5 minutes lol. So I packed a banana, graham crackers, and goldfish for her in case that happened again lol. When we got there Katie was playing outside with Karli and Anabelle while David played pool with his brother's in the garage. Katie played on the swings, the slide, chased the cat, and played on every bike she saw out there. After a bit I was too cold to stay out there any longer so I took her inside to play. It's a good thing I packed her some snackies, because Karin took the girls to Cold Stone to get some ice cream to be nice, and if Katie didn't have her crackers and fish, she would have thrown a tantrum, because she didn't get any :( I felt sad for her. She loooves ice cream haha. Karli and Anabelle got distracted and let theirs melt on the table...lol. Katie spent the rest of the night playing with the girls. Travis was hooked to the computer and that is ALL he wanted to do lol. He was making everyone play a Thomas the Train game for him while he watched, since he didn't know how to play it. Everyone had a turn by the night was over, and everyone was tired of the game quickly lol. Poor Travis. When I went to go check on Katie and the girls, she came out smiling in a pink dress. The girls were playing dress up with her I guess lol. She looked pretty :) She was playing with everything she could find in Karli's room, and she had a lot of fun. I think she ended up liking Travis' room more though, when she found it. He has Spongebob stuff in there, and LOTS of CARS stuff. She loved the cars he had, and the trains. She found a Firefighter baby bike thing, and spent quite a while on it. She got SO proud of herself when she finally figured out how to move it all by herself. She wore herself out! At the end of the night Karin's kids layed down in the living room to sleep, because it was late. Karin brought them out a blanket and pillows and put the tv on. Karli fell asleep in 5 minutes. Travis stayed up for a while, sneaking out every once in a while and seeing what Katie was up to, then rushed back to the floor when he saw Karin lol. I tried to put Katie in there with them, to see if she would take a nap, because it was about 11 at night. She stayed in there for about...2 minutes before she took off to go play more. I'm glad she had a fun night though.

She thought since she liked them so much, maybe the cat would like them too...
