Desert Sands Park

David and I took Katie to Desert Sands. The park is so different than when we used to go as kids. The big hill/slide is gone now. It's all plastic stuff now. The net is gone, all the fun stuff. But Katie still liked it. I took her down some slides, she liked them. After that we went to a smaller area that used to have swings and smaller slides for littler kids. That area was GONE lol. All that was left was a tiny playground, and 2 swings, but no baby swing. So I got on the swing and put Katie on my lap, facing me, and we swung for a bit together. She is funny, I think she liked it. After that David and I just let her walk around and we followed her. She loves walking around. She never seems to go in the direction I want her to go though, haha. It was a fun night though. We stayed for about 40 minutes, then went to WalMart to buy diapers and things. Katie threw a small fit in the store because she wanted to eat everything she saw, so I had to open some Gerber wheel things for her, they're like baby chips in the shape of a wheel. She was happily eating them as we shopped, and on the way home, lol.
